Hi!

I took the weekend off -well, DH and I went away overnight by ourselves! :) It was nice to visit our old neighborhood and other places we used to hang out when we were "younger" (DH turned the big 5-0, so this was a reminiscing sort of trip!). Anyway, it was very nice. We did take a 4.5 mile walk on Saturday - but DH walks slower than me, so it wasn't strenuous. Then, on Sunday, we did about 30 - 45 min. But, I did eat a lot - which was also ok!

Today I got back on track w/ my 10 lb slimdown extreme workouts and did the toughest of the batch - Legs! 40 min of torture. I went lighter than last time and used 8's, which is what uses. I think last time I used 10's but I didn't want to risk anything w/ my back which is feeling much, much better. Next time I do this one I may push some things back up to 10. This one is a good one. I am thinking that on the weeks when I don't to the xtreme lower body that I will do the original 10 lb slimdown lower body - mostly b/c my lower body is my trouble zone and the area that nees the most work. Plus, working lower body is very aerobic w/ these workouts so it kills 2 birds w/ one stone!

I stretched on my own w/ my yoga strap - focused on hips and hamstrings.

Tomorrow is cardio - not sure what I will do yet.

Take care!Donna

Glad you both enjoyed yourselves. Sounds like a really nice time.Good job with the workout today. I usually try to pick a harder one on Monday since I always eat so bad in the weekends.**----- Reply message -----From: " Donna M-P " <donna112520@...>< >, <FitFirmies >Subject: Back to exercising!Date: Mon, Nov 7, 2011 10:38 am Hi!I took the weekend off -well, DH and I went away overnight by ourselves! :) It was nice to visit our old neighborhood and other places we used to hang out when we were "younger" (DH turned the big 5-0, so this was a reminiscing sort of trip!). That is sort of what I was thinking, plus the time change has given me some temporary energy. :)
