Guest guest
As some of u know I had an upper GI ultrasound yesterday am, but today my dr's office called and they want to see me tomorrow morning to go over the results, even though I have an appointment on Feb 9'th. The dr said I HAD TO COME IN IMMEDIATELY! This worries me alittle. I had to end up drinking a bottle of prune juice cause the Lactulose 15ml 3X daily, isn't doing anything yet, so I figured I might as well do something as it has been too long without any relief it has helped some but not a lot. kim
Guest guest
It is worrisome when they call like that, but at least you may get some answers. Praying for good news! Guest guest
It's not always bad news when they call like that. It's enough to scare the crap out of you, I know (no pun intended), but try not to worry. They did the same thing to me when the results of a breast biopsy came back a few years ago. Scared the <insert expletive here> out of me, I can tell you! I told my doctor that if she ever called me like that again when there's NOTHING wrong, I'd wring her neck! LOL! Guest guest
I saw the dr, I have to see the surgeon next Tues at 4pm. and have a specialist Doppler ultrasound at the hospital. The dr wants everything done within the next few weeks because he found a mass 2X larger than my gall bladder and there was sludge in my gall bladder. Dr. Rooney will also help with the bowel problems as he works with MS patients all the time and is an excellent dr.
Guest guest
sigh..... Sure hope that this is something that is 'easily' fixed, Kim -- and that will make life MUCH easier for you!! AND so glad that this doc also is familiar with MS concerns!! So very glad that they will take action so quickly -- even though 'tis hard. Guest guest
Oh Kim, I'm so glad you went today and they can get you on the mend ASAP! Just think how much better you are bound to feel! Congratulations on your and your doctor's pro activeness, and that this was not allowed to go on and on with no resolution or before it got even worse. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. My thoughts and well wishes are still and will remain with you. Take care of YOU. Your " group" Friend, Christy in NC :-) Re: worried- feel free to delete I saw the dr, I have to see the surgeon next Tues at 4pm. and have a specialist Doppler ultrasound at the hospital.
