Hi All

I had my appointment with my gastro consultant, everything is

ok from the hole in wall the ct scan i had, showed the hole has

healed, my consultant thinks the reason i fell ill again so quickly

was i came off the iv antibotics and steriods too early which

wasn't my consultants fault but his collegue as mine was on 3 day

vaction and when he came back he thought i had the full course of

both, due to problems with the canulas i sometimes didn't get

what was prescribed.

if i get an other flare up i'm to go straight on to Azathoprine

instead of the steriods i have been on, i'm to stay on the

oxycodone for pain at night till see him in 6 months time he said

as it is controlling the pain then i should continue with it. i'm to

stay on the calcuim till they try me on milk again in 6 months.

ensure drinks also till i see him.

i'm to have ct of my small bowel, got to drink something then

they will scan my bowel as the drink works it way through the

bowel, i have to wait for them to send for me.

they took blood from me today to make sure i can go on the

Azathioprine and earlier today i went to my doctors my weekly

blood tests for liver,renal functions full blood count, blood sugar

level, iron and potassium.

i'm now waiting for my gp to ring so i can get more oxycodone and

ensurse drink i love the chocolate, peach, raspberry, fruits of the

forest the best not keen on the vanilla, bannana, strawberry but

will still drink them if i didn't have the other flavours.

my next hospital trip is november 27th for oral surgery, and after

that i see the dietcian on 16th december but for the next 4 weeks i

have a weekly blood test then it will go to monthly blood tests.

going to have a rest and cat nap before councillor comes at 7pm

and it will be a short nap too as it is 18.21pm now
