I'm so happy for you that things have gone so well for you.  We are one month

away from a year and a half of fever-free days.  Isn't it wonderful?!

Congratulations to both of you, we have been fever free for 2 1/2 years, but

still get the mouth sores like clockwork every month. can tolerate that with a

little bit of canka. Another thing I have noticed is that is not near as

hot blooded. She will keep her covers on at night. I noticed that a few months

after the fevers ended. We still keep worrying that the bomb will drop but we

are enjoying not having the fevers for now.

My daughter was fever free for 1 1/2 years (after having it for 4 years) and it

came back last month. This time I am considering T & A if fever is going to be a

regular thing again.

I am sorry to hear that the fevers came back. I know its a hard decision to

make, but for our family I didnt want to live with regret of not having the

surgery that could stop the fevers.when we did have the surgery our ENT said

Ramseys tonsils were so infected that they just broke apart he have him a shot

of rocephine(a stronge antibiotic) in the OR just because they were in such bad

shape. I knew right then when he told us that, I felt for sure that that was our

problem. So we take it day by day.And its been 1 yr..

Good luck with your decision.
