Guest guest
Good morning . Thank you for your reply. Kinda strange here I was shit scared about the fill and now I feel nothing , no restriction whatsoever. Do not know what I needed the fill after all that. Maree did say that it can take up to about three days to notice a difference , see how I feel by the end of the day . Otherwise , it will be back for discipline for me until I see the doctor next . Have a good day cheers - Mimi -----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Sent: Monday, 11 December 2006 10:01 AM Subject: Re: from Mimk Hiya Mimi It is so hard to say – sometimes 4 ml (depending on your band) is enough and you will be fine. Plus sometimes you notice the fill will kick in after a day or so – sometimes a bit longer. So I guess wait and see, make an appointment for next week and if you are not noticing any restriction, then get a bit more in. Usually you won't `feel' any difference when you are at the lower end of the fill scale. I am at 8.5ml and I don't have any `hunger' just the odd craving. This morning it was strawberries, so I went and got a strawberry smoothie and have just finished drinking it – it's taken an hour and a half. But that is tight restriction, I have to have little sips often – its economical too, LOL. So I guess I would be inclined to make an appointment for the next available – you can always cancel if things change right? – and then go a bit slower, because like you pointed out there is lots of socialising at this time of year and you don't want to end up in bothers.
