I am home ... thanks to everyone who sent wishes to me, who burnt candles, who cared and sent thoughts my way. Thanks to Ghyll, Nic and Cath for keeping you all up to date. I am told I said some pretty vague "out of it" things on Wednesday night and apologise to those who phoned and visited when I was not my verbose self! Enjoy the moment ... it doesn't happen too often! lol So now it's back to bloated feelings, liquids, feeling a tad sore but not really in a great deal of pain. It was so so so fabulous to meet (finally!) Dee K, Jerry, Pyretta, J9 and . Thanks also to American Sue for the visit, though I don't remember much about your visit - I'm sorry! This is new for me ... pain when I burp or hiccup! Don't remember this from last time. ooooooh. It hurts! A few funny moments when I got to theatre ... they thought I was going to fall off the table (I was hanging on but they didn't know it) so I didn't fall, but the anaesthetist took a tumble and I reached out and grabbed his hand to stop him sitting on his butt to put the cannula in. He was training a new anaesthetics nurse and said to me "you are in the profession, you don't mind if she practices on you!" Well, yeah, I DO. Last thing I remember was him telling her how to apply cricoid pressure with me lying there paralysed and not able to breath and me trying to say "I can't breathe ... get on with this will you". FAR OUT BRUSSEL SPROUT! I think he may have been punishing me for seemingly trying to fall off the table. GRR. I guess it isn't funny really and having done anaesthetics for many years, I knew what was going on, but for others it would have been frightening. In

reality it only lasted about 5 seconds, but those are a long 5 seconds sometimes. Well, all you lovely people, I am going to try and work through the rest of my 450 emails and will get back to you later. Damn ... I missed survivor ... can someone tell me who was evicted by tribal council? Not the celebrity one, the Cook Islands one!
