My son had an easy day 1-3, but it went downhill after that. I would say day 8

or so was horrible as well. My son too did not want to drink and the doctor

said that was making his throat parched and even worse. I felt so bad because

he would cry so hard and I knew it hurt his little throat. I do remember when

we wnt to his 2 week check up he was completely healed and like new again.

I would do it again in a heartbeat! That was a very small price to pay for

these past 16 months of no symptoms. I hope you will be able to say the same

thing as I 16 months from now.

Hang in there Hali!

It will get better. My 3yo had here T & A July 30. Days 5-9 were very hard

indeed. Nothing we did really seemed to help. The screaming is awful. For us,

once we got through those days, she was almost instantly better - like a big

switch flipped and the pain was gone. She will get better. Praying with you.

THANKS!

We are on day 10 post T & A.... seeing some improvement. But not as much as I

would like.

I freaked out last night crying like crazy..... I just got really worried about

my daughter not eating and drinking enough. She looks all pale and sickly.  Its

awful! I just want her to be better already. This has been the longest week and

a half EVER!!!

We are on day five. Is it because of the scabs? I am so worried about this. He

is still doing ok and keeping my fingers crossed that he will continue. He won't

even take Tylenol.

HOpe things get better real soon for your little one.
