Yoga (for plus size chicks)

Hey Nic,

I have now been to yoga 3 times (1.5hr each session) and I am

loving it. Week 1 was very challenging and all my muscles were

killing me for 2-3 days afterwards. Weeks 2 and 3 were much easier

and I find I can keep up with the rest of the class about 85% of the

time. The teacher is really good and if there is a difficult pose

she will give me an easier beginners option to try. I really enjoy

the stretching and the guided relaxation/meditation that we do at

the end. I think it will be good for helping to keep my moods

balanced.

Where abouts are you looking at going near work?

there is a college up the road and I can get a free pass so I might

try it. I did one class of yoga a few years ago and it was horrid -

weight was an issue I couldn't bend because the stomach was in the

way, felt like the class bean bag etc. So maybe since I have lost a

few kilos it would be better - we shall see.
