Yay!  5.5 miles is more than what I did today, which was NADA.  This is the best time of year for walking, in my opinion.  I love the fall. On Thu, Nov 3, 2011 at 7:25 PM, A. M. <plantpowered@...> wrote:

Hi folks!Last night I did get sore, kind of like a delayed reaction from Monday. I felt somewhat sore today, but not as bad. Stretching helped.  Today my son and I walked a total of 5.5 miles. He made me promise he could accompany me to my appointment. I worried him when I took off to yesterday's appointment on my own. I feel bad!

Shoot, though: it turns out my appointment was yesterday, not today. D'oh!!! Oh well. I guess my brain is still a bit scrambled.  I rescheduled it. The walk was great, though. It's a little bit colder now, and it was drizzling. My son is funny and great company. We stopped and got gigantic burritos on the way home. I ate the whole thing, LOL.

OK, gonna see what you're all up to!

Me too! It's my very favorite time of year. I hope you enjoyed your rest day, . How is that ankle doing?By the way, we passed by the local Lady Footlocker. I asked if they carried any of those bendy " zero drop " running shoes that I like so much. It turns out they had 5 or 6 brands of those, and she said they are going to keep carrying them. Cool! I can't afford them now, but now I know I can try some on when I'm ready for my next pair. I'm not going to run for a while, but I'm glad these will be easier to find now.

Oh how fun to have 5 different kinds of your favorite shoe! Ankle is slowly getting better, it doesn't hurt, only when I run or do high impact.  No biggie.  I'm having fun swimming and doing Zumba these days, I do miss running but it will be there for me when I'm ready!

I have a cold / perpetually runny nose and took today off work.  Might do so again tomorrow, just not sure yet, we'll see!  I hated not being at the gym tonite but sometimes you just gotta rest up. I did get lots of healthy crockpot cooking done, including crockpot oatmeal for tomorrow morning's breakfast, made with apples from my sisters' yard, 2 cups oatmeal, 3 cups soy milk, 3 spoonfuls General Mills French Vanilla Cafe, 2 scoops Optimum Nutrition Nitro Core 24 Sensational Cinnamon Roll flavor, nutmeg and clove spices. mmm
