Guest guest
Hi there, i am new to this group, my name is Barbara and i am supposed to be having my banding on Thursday 9th November. However have developed a viral infection and doctor given me an antibiodic and has put me off work. He is hoping that we can lick this before thursday. i live in and work in Mt Druitt and would love to chat with any one that has either just been banded or is being banded out this way. I am nervous and hope that i have made the right decision, at the beginning of going on Tony Ferguson i weighted, 125KG, have been on it approx 5 weeks and have dropped to 115KG. its given me a kick start and i have found it easy to do, my daughter took over cooking my tea ready for me when i come home, which allows me to eat my tea then cook my husbands unhealty meals that he will only eat. I know that i am now doing ok with what to eat, i think we have all been conditioned to grab a sandwich at lunch time, in my case sometimes 2. Since doing TF i realise that i used to consume far too much carbohydrates. thanks for allowing me to join this group and i lookforward to meeting many new friens kind regards Barb
Guest guest
Welcome Barb and congratulations on being 10kg down already! We have another member (julie_andrews84) being banded on Thursday also so you'll be able to progress through your journey together. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to be too nervous. I'm sure you have chosen a good surgeon with lots of experience. I was only the 3rd person to be banded my surgeon but he is great and I was not nervous at all! Good luck. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. The other members will also offer you lots of advice and support from all their different experiences. Good luck! > > Hi there, i am new to this group, my name is Barbara and i am > supposed to be having my banding on Thursday 9th November.
