Guest guest
Hi all, I am still very keen on participating in the 7 Bridges Walk this Sunday. Should be fun, great exercise and the money raised goes to some very worthy charities (The Cancer Council, The Heart Foundation, Diabetes Australia and Beyond Blue). Here is my plan of attack- 1. Meet at Milson Point Village at 10am and register for the walk. Burton Street Park, Corner of Alfred St & Burton St. Right near the railway station (I will be catching the train in) 2. Walk across the " Sydney Harbour Bridge " 3. Visit the the Rocks Village- First Fleet Park. Have some refreshments/morning tea. 4. Walk to and then across the " Pyrmont Bridge " 5. Visit the Pyrmont Village- Pyrmont Bay Park. Have some refreshments/lunch 6. Walk to and then across the " Anzac Bridge " 7. See how we are feeling and decide whether to continue on walking or think about heading for home, after suitable reshfreshments of course! If we make it as far as Birkenhead Point (by foot or shuttle) we could do a spot of shopping and then get a free ferry back to circular quay or Milsons Point…… Please don't worry too much about being unfit. We will be walking at a social pace and if anyone needs a rest so be it, it's not a race and we can retire at any time we please. ***I have had a few people express interest (, , Mimi...) and the more of us the merrier. If you want to come along and give it a go please let me know. Once we know who is coming we can all meet up and start walking. Hope you can make it, if you want to find out more give me a call (0425 316 008 or 9456-4457) Hope everyone has a great weekend! Best wishes........
