What a day....

Well, it wasn't an exciting day, but it certainly was a fairly busy one. It started with the electricians arriving early - 7.05am as requested (good boys). Then we sat and we waited for the attic ladder people to arrive. I rang yesterday and asked for an arrival time - between 7 and 7.30am. I asked, what time should I ask the sparky to come, about the same time was the answer. So, my loyal and very expensive sparky arrived, and we waited. He changed light bulbs, ended up putting a garden light in for me, and still we waited. I rang the attic company to ask where the hell the installers were... oh, they are not due at your house until 9.30am. Yep... you guessed it, someone had severely f*c*ed up at the head office. So my expensive electrican and his sidekick sat and waited because they had to be here to move electrical wiring in the roof and install some lights up in the black hole as well as move the light switch. They left here at 1.30pm - I have asked them to send the necessary paramedics with their bill!!! Now the other installers have left, and I have my room and computer back.

I did get about six loads of washing done whilst they were here, and watched Shrek 2 in between times, I love the Shrek movies! So, a busy day, and a day that has finished up well, except for the dust and mess from having a hole cut in my ceiling.

And just to add to it all - I think the silly fellow at radiology yesterday took out 3ml... not 0.3ml... you name it - I can eat it!!!!!! No restriction at all!

Mel I can't believe you can scoff everything again - its such a

battle isn't it. I've been merrily ploughing thru 3 course dinners

every night this week - no probs, no PBs and no reflux - go figure!!!

Tradesmen are just hopeless and I sympathise with you have to try and

schedule a couple at the same time - what a hassle. Anyway I'm going

to scoot off home now - a little excursion to Haberfield is on my

agenda for tomorrow after my aqua class so the guilt of the purchase

is lessened (not really, as I wouldn't have felt any guilt anyway) -

LOL.

Have a good weekend

Gosh what a stuff up. I'd suggest you forward the sparky's bill to the attic ladder people. That might improve their QA systems!!

What a nuisance about the fill though. I can understand your frustation. I now have 8.5ml in the tank but can tell no difference between what i could eat at 8ml and what i can eat at 8.5ml - as last night's pizza consumption highlighted all to well.
