Honey don't feel alone many of the symptoms you are having describing we have had too.

We need to eat very healthy especially with an esld proper diet. Your team will cover it all for you for your health care needs tell you which is best for you and your particular health labs all illnesses symptoms. Eating fresh foods no fast foods packaged processed canned foods that has tons of salts preservatives eat small amounts very lean cuts of mostly chicken - fish - pork load up on fresh veggies no added salt to foods or high in bad fats or high in dairy or fatty beef. We are not digesting foods or breaking it down properly like it was before esld. The same for Rx's some staying in our systems higher doses strenghts for longer times. All we eat drink ingest take in is processed by the liver. It is a major

and largest organ doing the most steps processes part of or related to all organs - systems - enzymes - blood flow - digestion - circulation - matabilization - the works. We are warned to not take any Rx's - over the counter items - herbs - vitamins without consulting having it ok'ed by our team. They also need to know all we take even over the counter because it can affect change lab values some tests with altered or false results.

You will be amazed how a proper individualized medical diet for esld makes such a big difference with symptoms complications even for ascites fluid in abdomen - fluid retention body wide - ammonia toxins build-up - better digestion by eating 5 to 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals - mental confusion - circulation pressures -being in a fog bad memory adds energy and makes us feel so much better. A transplant team usually has on-board full in-house staff in clinic or by referral consults to other specialists for all our needs medical care treatments and consulting back to all our Dr's for our total combined care. There are many safe Rx's care simple things to do in esld to relieve help with symptoms and a better quality of life all around.

The itching will drive you up the walls. It's the toxins building up can even leach out or dehydration affecting even skin made worse by the wrong fluids we drink or not enough and our diets. Never start scratching once you start you can't stop will break the skin. We are more susceptible to much easier bad infections hanging on longer our immune systems are pooped out too. Don't laugh too hard right before my transplant I was itching so bad I had to tape heavy socks to my hands especially at night to not scratch break the skin more. Heat even hot water for baths showers will spread the itching and dry out the skin more. I used Aveeno bath products for dry itching skin helped the best but be careful some of them are very slippery. My team advised me to also lightly towel

dry after bathing only cool water never get overheated get a good cheap moisturizing healing lotion and slather it on all over while skin still damp. They said I could buy very expensive lotions moisturizing products even Rx's for it but Vaseline brand for dry itching skin with healing vitamins right on the label or similiar products was the cheapest and best. I still use it today everyday. Since we are on skin products also thought of be careful with teeth dental care. The mouth gums teeth throat are also affected much more prone to infections now and with loads of usual bad germs bacteria that could easily spread. Routine dental check-up care was part of my pre and post transplant care too. We need to treat stop or avoid ALL infections.

Take the best total care of you that you possible can at this time stay in the best medical shape possible body-wide to prepare you for an easier transplant and after care. Positive mental attitude hoping for the best a good life future no matter what it throws at us being a survivor no matter what is key. It is also part of the total package needed by us in esld and part of our transplant evals staying strong willed mind body and soul positive enough pushing ourselves enough to make it pull through it never giving up or giving in at all costs.

Proper mental attitude handling stress the best we can enough deep sleep and proper diet plays such important roles for us our total health and for better outcomes no matter what. If we need help in doing so we need to speak up talk to our many specialists about it or any complications symptoms.

We hear from members so often they had no idea no matter how small or large that symptom - complication - dx - stress levels - insomnia - depression etc.... was also related to my HCV liver disease. Yes it can be and to the entire body. We can not receive our best proper medical care treatment relief with symptoms unless we have good full working relationships with our medical teams and inform then of all that is going on with us. Than let them do their jobs accessing it us taking good care of us.

The weekends are usually slow in group give it awhile and for replies from members esld and transplant members.

Suzie in Canada is right now traveling by plane again to her transplant evals testing transplant team hospital all set up for her. She may be back now but pooped out.

Honey you hang in there and hang on tight. They are going to test you from head to toe and everything in between than may redo it again to get you in the best medical mental shape possible for a transplant and for post transplant after care. It is all very highly specialized medical care treatment staff training with them having it all down pat systems networks in place.

Our energy levels are very low at times in esld but all our complications symptoms come and go at different peaks levels from time to time day to day. It's like living on a roller coaster ride.

I was dx'ed into stage 3 with all my own medical problems medical case. Than went fast into stage 4 cirrhosis stages than esld to transplant and now back again. It is all an individualized disease timetable for each person using the nature usually progressions of HCV to ESLD in general.

HCV/Liver Disease from it is called The Silent Epidemic because it is not showing any signs symptoms usually for 20 to 30 years or more for many people. Many people don't know they have it or correctly dx'ed with it to very late stages after many symptoms and showing up in labs tests.

Yes it all is very complex to learn about but you will be surprised how quickly you will pick up on it learn about it all and have it all start to fall into place for you. Try to pace yourself not become too overwhelmed by it all at first and as time goes by take it all 1 step and 1 day at a time.

Just try and do your best. That is all you can ask of ourselves and others ask of us too.

We are here to walk with you along your journey in a friendly truthful group environment with a positive support system of understanding online friends.

By sharing of ourselves our personal experiences in group we help ourselves with support and info and for all members in all stages.

It is a continuous growth learning experience for us all.

All The Best
