Sara,

What luck, I am having a barbecue at my house in Sterling, VA on the

26th of May. It is for a PODS (Parents of Children with DS)

playgroup. Kay is planning on attending along with a number of

other families (however, these families do not have multiples). I

would love if you can make it, it is currently scheduled from

11AM-3PM. Let me know if you want to attend. My number is

703-406-3550(H) 703-264-3049(W).

Sara,

I live between Bethesda and Friendship Heights... Haven't " hit " the

list in a while because I'm bogged down with motherhood and end of

the year teaching responsibilities. However, would love to get

together and currently plan to be in town Memorial Day weekend. e-

Re: washington dc

Hi Kathy,

I was part of the team with the San Autism Society pushing

this bill. This was one of the reasons why I kept writing and calling

and I would recieve letters from the Senator & Government from Texas,

to keep me updated and to thank me. Of course now our Governor had

higher duties to attend, as he is the President(BUSH). This year we

are focusing towards, which was a very close call on passing SB 27

Bill to push for medical expenses. So now its time to write, call, &

vote for it. Its a massive explosion on Autism and it does not matter

if Republican or Democrat as it use to be in past years, which is my

opinion. Its who can do the job right and care for the children of

the world with Special Needs. Whatever it takes. HUGS your way for

actually taking some action towards it. This is the best thing to do

for your child and for the children of the world, as we must all be

involve to persue the issues needed.
