Guest guest
You should give yourself a huge pat on the back - what a great achievement in a few months and no I don't think it is a prob you told a white fib to your rellies about the band. It's nobody's business but yours and how rude of them to ask outright anyway. People just haven't got a clue how hard this band is and what we have to put up with and go without. The people they aren't complimenting you are probably feeling a little jealous and threatened - it is not uncommon and the dynamics in the family/friends/work colleagues may very well change as you get smaller and smaller. It doesn't always happen, but it is something you may need to be prepared for. Leah where are you situated - are you coming to our birthday bash on Sunday 12th - would be great if you can make it / spouses etc welcome. Guest guest
Hi Cherie I was just thinking the same thing, but realised it is a 3 hour journey - just to get there from Wollongong by train. I am not good driving in Sydney anymore, even though it was my home for 25years. Would love to come to a get together closer to southern Sydney if you ever have them..... Cheers L. > Leah where are you situated - are you coming to our birthday bash on > Sunday 12th - would be great if you can make it / spouses etc welcome. > Cheers > Cherie

Guest guest
Leah Shame you can't make it, but understand about the journey! Next time, and perhaps that is your queue to make something in the new year a bit closer to you - there is no structure to these gatherings except you need a venue and bodies - how easy is that! Guest guest
Leah perhaps you can tee up with Helen & Rob to come to the Christmas lunch at Darling Harbour. They are from down your way and perhaps you can car pool together. We try and spread the venues around so the same people are not travelling huge distances all the time, but sharing a ride has helped a few others in the past. Mazz comes from the Central Coast and we have members scattered everywhere so if you think December might work - post a note to Helen and see if you can tee something up - would be great if you could come along. Guest guest
Oh this is excellent - another bandit who is always on the lookout for wine time! As I say, it must be cocktail hour somewhere in the world!
