Guest guest
Hi Irma, Yes, I made my call, thanks for asking. The doc doesn't know as usual what the problem was but gave me more anti spasmodic meds. I am feeling better but the nerves are getting worse as thursday approaches with that PPT meeting. I am praying that the lawyer sends someone with me and I don't loose my temper. I do not usually have a short fuse but I can't handle it anymore.School vacation is finally over and no call from the school yet today. They recieved the letter from the lawyer so that may make a difference.Your dinner out sounded great especially for , good for him. He must have enjoyed it too. Charlyne mom to Zeb 9 DS/OCD ?

Guest guest
Hi Irma, I was a postal supervisor in addition to my concession business. I had a boss that everyone dreams about. The building closed and rather than take a transfer with a new boss I opted to just stay home. The school just comsumes me. I hate it. I am afraid to go shopping for fear the school will call. I even take the portable phone into the shower. It is just out of hand. I am so afraid to not answer for fear they will hurt him, which has happened. After going into to school thursday, they were trying to exclude him from a math buddy exchange with another class. The problems go on and on. Friday he was sent home with class project papers for grandparents day and a math peer buddy paper to complete at home. If I am not around to take care of all these problems who will? It is frustrating. I am hoping will legal intervention this will stop. If all else the attorney will monitor the school so I can recoup part of my life. Sorry for the vent. Guest guest
Hi Irma, What a great story about your nephew in the school band. I dream of this for Zeb! The story should have been published across the country and the band director did deserve special recognition. You mention a lesson from the Texans. The state sped is paying for a consultant to come in from Texas in September to introduce an inclusion model the state is adopting. Every school superintendant, principal and pupil service personnel will be mandated to attend across the state. They rented the largest hotel and conference facility they could find to accomodate all these people. I hope the Texans can teach these people a few things. I have foreign students come to work through the first week of October. The USA kids want a fortune per hr. and a break every hr. I just can't find a work crew unless I import them. I know this sounds awful but our kids have terrible work ethics. I pay these students and give them a free place to live. They are responsible for their own food and laundry. If I happen to be cooking a big dinner I always invite them. They usually spend more time in the house than theirs. I have small camping trailers in the yard that they stay in and I have a washer and dryer in the shop for their use. The boy I picked up is great! He is very tolerable and very good with Zeb. They are told upfront before they take the position about Zeb. I expect them to keep an eye out for him as we do. All of these kids are very respectful and polite. They are grateful to have an american experience and I am grateful for the help. I asked him to mow the lawn and LOL he never saw a lawnmower much less knew people cut the lawn. My dh went into his trailer today to repair the toilet and he asked him to remove his workboots. I am still laughing. We really have fun with these kids. I have another student coming in from Japan and hopfully 2 will be enough. I do weekend events as soon as I can. I did a weekend event this year in March. It was cold! I will be working every weekend until the end of July when the fair season goes into full swing right through the end of September. It's a strange life but it works for me. I hope your back is better and asks for prime rib next LOL Charlyne Mom to Zeb 9 DS/OCD ?

I knew it was to attract the girls! LOL He was a ladies man and Zeb is following suit. Charlyne Mom to Zeb 9 DS/OCD ?

Hi Irma, I have one student from Bulgaria now and another coming in from Japan on the 20th. Gail wasn't able to meet the Bulgarian. I gave him a week off for poor behavior. My way of punishment, no pay. I was letting him use my computer to e-mail and he decided to put some nasty comments on the computer about my dh. I just happen to find them while looking for a school document. I was not happy. He now has to go to the library to use their computers. Other than that he is not too bad. He would always give me an excuse about not remembering his work etc so now I write everything down. He then couldn't read my writing so I dictate and he writes. Life could be worse. All in all not bad. Thanks for asking. Charlyne Mom to Zeb 9 DS/OCD ?

Ok, I'll check it out in my dh's flight book. Hi Irma, I would think so seeing that it is an international airport. Delta has a hub there. I'm not the seasoned traveler. My flights are and few between. My feet are on the ground traveling from fair to fair LOL. I love cats! Zeb's first word was kitty. Cats eat all the time. I would just leave the bowl of kitten chow full. Please do not flush the cat litter in the toilet, it will definately cause some problems after awhile. You can buy a scoop to remove it in the store and just dispose like the diapers. I hope the cat takes to , remember they are nocturnal too LOL. Charlyne Mom to Zeb 9 DS/OCD ? Zeb picked up an eye infection this week as well. It's nice to hear that is doing so great! I am still tying up loose ends from my work season and have the school issues complicating completion on anything. I don't think I will ever have a week free from any problems. Hi Irma, Wow, that's a lot of hours! You must be exhausted. The washer is great and the tub is huge. Dh is home tonight at 7, to bed at 9 and is leaving again at 8am. I think he only came home to get his laundry done. I was actually able to put in 6 of those 44 jeans with all the sweats and colored t's. It is a time saver. I know I need the dryer now because it's taken twice as long to get that done, LOL. Happy that is feeling better and he and kitty are doing so well. Zeb is fine esp. when it is not a school day. Zeb was in a small class play on friday, nothing big. It was about animals. The teacher just printed the animals out on paper and each child just taped it to their shirt. Zeb was a wolf and told the teacher he would do his part but she shouldn't do a play without costumes, LOL We ended the week with the staff smiling. Charlyne Mom to Zeb 9 DS/OCD ?
