Guest guest
THe National Autism Association is not happy with NIH, and wanted parents to have the opportunity to question them. That's why they were invited and that's why we did not screen questions in any way, but insisted that they be asked in a respectful manner. Two of the comments we received in evaluations completed at the end of the conference addressed the NIH Presentation. When asked to agree or disagree that the keynote and featured speakers were informative and worthwhile, one responder wrote: " Jeff Bradstreet, Andy Wakefield especially. The breadth of perspective, including NIH's (denial) and Chiari malformation info - also meets my need for letting all be heard. " When asked what was the most valuable part of the conference, another responder wrote: " Speakers - especially biomedical! Chance to hear NIH double-talk firsthand "
