Guest guest
I keep hearing either 1987 or 1990. Could be that some docs or parents were slow to take on the new recommendations if the child wasn't in daycare or school, though I don't know how that works. > > Hi, I have a WONDERFUL sister but I can tell by things she has said that she > doesn't believe my daughter is " vaccine injured " . Guest guest
Even if they are the same schedule. My first daughter was immunized on time in 97, other than an MMR reaction & moderate respiratory issues she's been fine. My second was injured at 9 mos from a hep B. We went on to give her the same immunization schedule as big sis. Just because one is affected & the other isn't does not equate to it not being the cause. Someone can die from malaria & the other live, that doesn't mean the first didn't die from it. Someone can die from a car wreck and another live, that doesn't mean the wreck didn't kill the first, etc. My family seems to think I'm nuts, too, but when I told them about meeting with a US Congressman yesterday and him saying right off the bat, " I'm convinced vaccines are the cause of autism... " they were scratching their heads. Debi > > Hi, I have a WONDERFUL sister but I can tell by things she has said that she > doesn't believe my daughter is " vaccine injured " . Guest guest
The MMR was not introduced until 1988, before that they used the single measles vaccine. And then in 1992 more were added, the Hep B was added in 1992. So there were huge difference between a 20year old and a 14 year old in what and how many they received. I think SafeMinds might have a doc on this… - From: EOHarm [mailto:EOHarm ] On Behalf Of Debi Sent: Thursday, November 29, 2007 11:09 AM EOHarm Subject: Re: When was the vaccination schedule changed? Guest guest
1991 they added the Hib and Hep B to the vaccination schedule which TRIPLED the amount of mercury kids were getting. Before that, there was a gradual rise as a few vaccines were added here and there. Barb When was the vaccination schedule changed? Hi, I have a WONDERFUL sister but I can tell by things she has said that she doesn't believe my daughter is "vaccine injured". She said yesterday of her pre-med son "Afterall, had the same vaccines that Eleanor did." I don't believe this to be the case. My daughter is 14 and my nephew is 20 so I'm thinking that the vaccination schedule was changed in between them. Does anyone have any info on when the vaccination schedules were changed? THANK YOU so much.**************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products.(http://money.aol.com/special/hot-products-2007?NCID=aoltop00030000000001) No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/welcome/immunizations/immunization_timeline.html The 1988 date for MMR is the UK vax introduction. In the US it was the universal jab for toddlers by the late 70's. A couple other notable events: The DTwP was 3 jabs until the late 80's when a 4th was added and then in the early-mid 90's a 5th was added. Around the same time (mid 90's) we began the phaseout of DTwP for DTaP because of the higher rate of mortality associated with the whole cell version. The phaseout was conducted for the very same reason the phaseout of thimerosal was - to cloud the precipitous drop in adverse events which could lead to civil damages. Hep B was moved from adult to pediatric schedules beginning in 1990, and quickly became nearly universal as maternity wards used extreme coercion to enforce compliance. This move was specifically made to mask the neurologic damage caused by Hep B when it was an adult vaccine, because infants had no prior personality/intelligence/etc. to compare before and after. The live polio vax was phased out in favor of the killed polio vax in the mid 90's, adding thimerosal to the schedule. Your sister may be wonderful, but she is either talking out her ass or parroting the company line (for whatever reason). A simple comparison of your children's shot records would verify that they did indeed have different numbers of shots. I have children who are 21 and 13 and they most certainly DID have different number and kinds of shots. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better pen pal.
