12 yr old boy in our town w/ severe encephalitis!

A 12 year old boy in our town has come down with an extreme life

threatening case of encephalitis. He is now in a drug induced coma.

I don't know for sure if the boy had received vaccines recently. But I

DO know that he goes to the same pediatrician as my 12 year old and

the docs there have been badgering every 12 year old about getting

Tdap MCV and HPV vaccines....and of course influenza. Some of the

patients have gotten ALL of them on the same day!!!! Ugh. Of course

they knew better than to suggest that for my 12 year old.

Can anyone point me to some good info regarding encephalitis and

vaccines??

Last year my cousin's 11 year old daughter received a meningitis C vaccine while she still had a bit of an ear infection/"swimmer's ear" just before school started in early September. She ended up hospitalized a few days later, until our Canadian Thanksgiving which is in early/mid October, and was not well enough to return to school until after the Christmas holidays. The poor girl was a mess and had all the signs of meningitis (even though tests turned up negative for bacterial meningitis), a blood clot behind her left ear, a severe ear infection, and pressure built up behind her eyes which affected her eyesight for some time afterward. She was in severe pain and discomfort and was not able to straighten her neck, nor do anything for weeks in the hospital. This year, my daughter is in grade 7 and was "offerred" hep B and meningitis C vaccine at school. I declined both, and will do the same next year with Gardasil, the

HPV vaccine, if it is still being offerred to Grade 8 girls. To think that our government was sucked into spending $300,000,000 on making this dubious vaccine available for Grade 8 girls (and that is only a part of the whole cost) truly disappoints me because even some of our Canadian doctors thought this was ill-advised. Encephalitis just means inflammation of the brain.

There are many 'causes' - viruses, bacteria, and hypersensativity reactions

- including vaccines

And even if they found some bacteria or virus, who's to say that the cause

wasn't vaccines depressing the immune system.

All of you who have children with autism probably have children who

had/have encephalitis.

That is what you would call the reaction in the brain that is seen so many

times:

Excessive, intractable crying or the opposite - unresponsiveness

They cry for hours because of the vaccine-induced encephalitis - the

varying degrees of the encephalitis range from:

1. irritability

2. intractable crying

3. seizures

4. hyperactivity

5. ADD/ADHD

6. autism

7. death (SIDS & other)

And anything else in between - its because of the inflammation of their

little brains.

You are probably right for this poor child.
