's son is only 5, so he may not have had much thimerosal exposure from his shots (I haven't read her book though). My son is almost 8 and the mercury exposure he got was from his flu shots at 1,2 and 3, not his regular vax's. In my son's case, mercury never showed up too much in any of the challenges we did (nothing other than in the green-IV and TD challenges). In our case, I suspect there are several other issues with vaccines that sent him over the edge.

Yeah, the exemption thing did bother me a bit. It may have been a matter of not really knowing the answer, at least in 's and Holly's case.

I am really just so amazed and in awe that they got to say what they did! I missed Oprah and the View, and only saw the 20/20 piece- what a difference between the two!

I think they kicked ass!

I'm glad she said "junk" in vaccines because there is probably a segment of the population that ONLY heard about thimersol and the CDC's statement of "no link." Now they can do their own research to find out what that other "junk" is and they are going to be so surprised to learn there is radiator fluid in their vaccines. I do agree with a lot of what you just said. While I was readying myself to watch Larry King Live tonight, one of my sons informed me that someone was knocking at the door. It turned out to be one of the residents of our condo building. He was canvassing in support of one of our political candidates for our upcoming provincial election, due to happen in October. I stepped outside to talk to him and managed to tell him about the things I was not happy about, like our federal and provincial governments paying hundreds of millions of dollars for vaccines of dubious value and safety, like our flu and HPV4 vaccines. He was totally surprised by all this, and asked me for links to the information that I told him about. We might not all get the audience and others get, but even on our own, we can make a difference, one person at a time, if need be, sometimes in surprising circumstances. Aasa Becky Grant-Widen

Okay, okay, but I don't want us to forget the TRIGGER here. Many of these kids got the viral problems BECAUSE they were given along with thimerosal-containing vaccines.

But they DID talk about vaccines... and lots of other important stuff that no other network show would allow without heavy editing. TAKE THIS and be grateful! This was a huge gain for biomedical intervention!Mercury in vaccines is a big part of our problem, but not the only causal factor. Hi.

This is my first time posting and I first want to say that I have

really enjoyed reading about what everyone is going through. It

makes me feel less alone. I am finally responding because I

completely agree with what Aasa said. We can each make a difference

everyday of our lives. One person at a time. I am not beautiful and

well-known like so I am grateful that she is using that to get

the message out. However, despite the fact that I have been telling

everyone about this for the last 10 years, my fellow RNs and doctors

are coming up to me like I am amazing. " You were telling the truth "

and " you aren't crazy " . I have some mixed feelings about all that

but I am going to just try to be grateful that people are finally

getting the message. I will use this to reinforce the message as

much as I can. I thank God that this group exists.

If they focused on mercury, the CDC, AAP and everyone else would say,'mercury has been removed from vaccines. THere's no problem there'. There is lots of junk in vaccines, like Holly said, not just mercury. Aluminum is a HUGE problem, live viruses can be a problem. The current schedule is a problem. I watched it at work last night and in between the commercials I had

to tend to my patients but it was very hard to focus on them because

of HOW WONDERFUL JENNY WAS!!!!! I got into a heated debate with

another nurse whose son also has autism because she is a non-

believer in what says--I just can't understand that---it is

almost like me (a democrat) trying to knock some sense into my

father (a die hard conservative republican) but at least my dad is a

believer and a supporter of the vaccine autism connection (the first

time we EVER agree!!!! but I still love him)

In a way I'm ok with her not mentioning mercury. Only because so many

parents think the vaccines are ok now just because their pediatrician

says they are mercury free. When parents only get alarmed about the

" mercury " then they are too easily convinced the vaccines are safe

when the doctor says " but these are mercury free " .

I hear parents all the time say there is nothing to fear

anymore....they took most of the mercury out. It's not as bad as it

once was.

Mercury is only part of problem.
