This time it only lasted about 3 days and then he was ok whereas the last three episodes lasted at least 4-5 days. He only had one really bad day this time and probably only got as high as 103.0 whereas before they always went 104-106. I just treated with Motrin as I always do. My question is whether the episodes can vary in length and severity. We were waiting for this episode to have a more confirmed diagnosis of . I also was mentally preparing myself for a week of the fever and he only went a few days with it (thankfully it wasn't as bad). But does that mean maybe it wasn't a real episode.
