Guest guest
I know in our area there is a respirtory flu going around that is fever and cold. Sami got it right after having an episode. That may be why he has both at the same time. " Ask... " <moviegirl79@...> wrote: Caleb had his usual fever in October since then it seems that he is alternating between fever and a cold or both. In reading posts it seems that the common colds holds off the fevers I noticed back in September Caleb had a cold that month but no fever now he's having both. He either had a fever or having a cold 21 days out of November he was sick the first 2weeks of December and has had a fever 104-105 with a horrible cough and runny nose again for the past 3 days. I felt so lucky that we had both Thanksgiving and Christmas without fevers but I'm really starting to wonder if there is something more or something else I should be doing for him. The doctor has said Caleb has a working dx of but 4 possibly 5 colds in the past few months seems a little strange to me. Is anyone else experiencing this?? Any advice would be great appreciated. Guest guest
I am having a difficult time telling when it is a fever episode or something else. My son just had a pretty severe fever episode 18Dec through 21Dec and now he is sick again. It seems like another fever episode (no coughing or runny nose), but he usually goes 25-30 days between them. Any suggestions?? We were just diagnosed on 02Nov2006 with . Thanks! Guest guest
This is interesting...I was just about to post the same question. My son fevered on November 15, gave him the pred. same thing on Dec. 15 except terrible mouth sores. Yesterday was sent home from school with headache and tummy ache. Still has it today along with mouth sores and the goosebump like rash but no fever....... His Dr. told me not to give him Motrin & Pred until the fever reaches 101.5. So now I am stuck with what to do since we have all other signs but no fever. Mom of Chance > > I am having a difficult time telling when it is a fever episode or > something else.
