Another

parent had written me about his son and how even when they are not

having a fever he seems to run warmer than most people, no blankets or

long sleeves at night, no jacket when its cold outside, and my son has

always been the same way, in fact I rarely dress him with anything

heavy because he gets way to hot. I thought this was iteresting and

was wondering if anyone else had noticed this with their kids.

This was definitely true of Sammy. She would always kick off all her

covers, even in

winter when it was chilly in the house. I would feel her, and her body

would be nice and

warm. Not fever hot, just warm as though she'd been under plenty of covers.

Since she's been on the Cimetidine, she generally sleeps with the covers on

all night,

even burrowing under a down comforter (our house is cold in winter!), which

she had NEVER

done prior to being on Cimetidine. BTW, yesterday was the 7-week mark

without a fever. Prior

to the Cimetidine, she fevered every 2-3 weeks.

Wishing you all a happy, fever-free holiday!
