Thanks everyone for your input. Yes I think the baking soda is the

same thing as bi-carb soda. I don't know what I did wrong but it did

really hurt him and so far I can't talk him back into letting me have

another go so we're just using the lysine anesthetising spray at the

moment. Unfortunately he hasn't been eating much because of all

this. By the way is Malox a brand name or an ingredient? Hopefully

with a good night's rest tonight he'll be back to school tomorrow.

The headache seems a bit better and he hasn't vomited today.

Chicks I'm sorry to hear it is so tough getting such needed support

for medicines etc. I can imagine it must be so frustrating at times.
