Guest guest
Nate is still undergoing testing but the doc believe it . He started in March, 2007 coincidentally he was given a Hepatitis A shot Feb, 2007. The first couple months the docs concluded it to be a virus but in September, Nate had Dr Grante who knew of and started the blood tests. I am currently logging everything, hurt fingers, fevers by the hour, mouth sores, skate boarding accidents, unhappy moments. If it doesn't seem right, I write it down. Nate's fevers are every 3 weeks to the day and last 2 to 4 days. He is at the end of one today. He can tell when the fevers are starting prior to his temp elevating. He even cancels social activities, pizza after school, on his own because he knows he'll be sick. Other than this he is absolutely fine, plays football, has a girlfriend, A/B student, popular. We just had another CBC, serum igD (potentially HIDS), Serum igA, mevulonic Acid, CRP, etc blood and urine tests which should tell us if he really has . I guess. I am trying to find exactly which tests diagnose .
Guest guest
is a diagnosis of exclusion. Currently there is no test to specifically diagnosis it. Sounds like you are having all the right tests done though...to exclude other things! Hang in there! Amy- Mom to -age 2.
