& flu shots, punctuation

Hi,

A good question!

We get my daughter (7 1/2) a flu shot every year because she does get

all the usual stuff and well

as the syndrome fevers. Often a more serious infection (than a cold)

will then trigger months

of frequent " echo " flares of her usual symptoms after recovering from

the initial infection.

Her flares are often triggered by stress, illness, being really

worn out, etc.

With her, this has always been the case, even as a toddler, so that

is different than many people's experience.

She has had genetic testing & all the usual rule-outs over the years,

so is the best diagnosis we

are left with.

I have a friend whose emails always come through with odd

punctuation; I always thought she was using some

hip ascii humor, but no, it wasn't the way she had typed it in.
