Question about TRAPS and how it relates to . I see a lot of

posts mentioning TRAPS. What is the relationship between TRAPS and

? From what I understand TRAPS can also cause recurrent fevers.

I also thought that a diagnosis of TRAPS means you have TRAPS and

not . Now I'm beginning to think I mis-understood.

I asked my son's Dr to test my son for TRAPS and I thought she said

that you couldn't test for it. Based on specifics some have posted

and other info I've read on the internet I really though there was a

test. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Just making sure we cover all bases. Too bad that there isn't a

standard list for testing. We've been to a couple of

specialists already, each educated about , and each one has

such a different approach to what tests are necessary, etc. I feel

like once a Dr says " we're done testing " we move to another Dr that

runs a whole new round of tests. The only real common thread I found

was that they all pushed off genetic testing. Just makes me

think " what test are we missing now? "
