Guest guest
Hi Karri, Glad to hear the surgery went well. I know what you mean about the drinking. It will improve. It took C.J. at least the two weeks to start drinking normal again. The bad breath is still around for him too. They said the bad breath could stick around for 4-6 weeks. It is pretty potent. Well he has a fever. He also has a very runny nose and cough so we are hoping that is what is from. The highest it has gotten today is 100.3. We took him to the pediatrician and his brother too who also has the runny nose and cough and he said everything else looks fine. We are just waiting now to see where this goes. I am stressed bad. I feel like at any moment the fever is going to go up. I'm trying to keep calm but it is tough. I know his tonsils were bad in the first place but we are so hoping this would fix the fevers. Only time will tell. Good luck over the next week. It does get better. Dawn mom to C.J. 22 months karri marinko <kmarinko62@...> wrote: (2 y. old) had her T & A surgery last week. Tomorrow will be one week after surgery. She was released from the hospital on the fourth day finally. I could only get her to drink water from a syringe we use to give her medicine. It has been really hard this past week but I am glad we went through with the surgery. The doctor said her tonsils were chronic, she said they were a 3, with 4 being the worst. Doctor said her tonsils would never have gotton better. She would always be sick. So I'm thankful for the surgery. We stayed in a hotel in Nashville Wed. night because of the weather. started running a fever right after midnight. I was up all night praying that it would go away before surgery, and it did. She just had an episode a week before the surgery. I hope that's the last of the fevers. She still has the bad breath. Hopefully that will go away soon. Thanks for all the advice before the surgery.
