Guest guest
I take a 50 mg tablet cut it in half and place the half (25mg) into 50ml of water. After shaking, it forms a suspension. For a 3mg dose, I draw 6ml into a syring and then squirt what is in the syring into a little bit of orange juice. For a 4.5mg dose I draw 9ml of suspension. I keep the suspension in thr refrig and draw out daily doses until I have to start with a new batch. As you may know 30 - 50mg tablets are very inexpensive since they sell the generic form. This procedure has worked for me for the last year. Arnold
Guest guest
Lois, I don't know....but I use a Jarrow B12 amber glass jar that I've saved and works great. Have you looked high and low for a little glass vitamin/supp bottle that you could use. I kinda went thru this in the beginning but found one and then even found another one from a Standard Process adrenal product I take. So now I save them when they are empty. If you live near me, I'll give you one. joyce [low dose naltrexone] Making LDN Hi everyone, I know this subject has been brought up before, but I cannot seem to find a 4 oz amber glass jar. I went to my pharmacy and they gave me a 4 oz plastic jar. Is there anything wrong in using plastic? If so, if you are making your own, where did you get the amber glass jar? Thanks for any help you can offer. I also googled: 4 oz amber glass jar and got a lot of hits, but most of them are only sold by the dozen. I found this source that sells them one at a time, and I have bought things from them in the past and they are a good supplier, fast service and reasonable shipping: http://www.luckyvitamin.com/p-27049-frontier-natural-products-amber-wide-mouth-j\ ar-with-white-plastic-cap-4-oz?redirect=1 Another type of place to get such amber jars/bottles is at natural-food stores. Most of them carry some empty amber or blue glass jars and bottles. -- ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ --A.J. Guest guest
Lois, I use a baby food jar wrapped in aluminum foil. A lot cheaper than buying a supplement just to get the jar!
