Hello,

My name is and about a week ago my daughter Makayla's

pediatrician finally talked with a specialist regarding her very

regular fevers that she was getting and the specialist immediately

said that it sounds like . Her pediatrician doesnt seem very

concerned but has offered to refer us to the specialist but didnt

seem like it was necessary. She also said that if Makayla and I can

deal with the fevers she would not recommend doing anything for them

other than Motrin

Here is Makaylas background...With Makayla I had a normal pregnancy

and delivery but it seems like from day one she was very irritable.

At 2 month she was diagnosed with Torticollis and went to physical

therapy for 1 1/2 yrs with very little progress. I remember that she

was sick on her first birthday and that seems to have started an

array of various common sicknesses and I felt we were in the Dr

office atleast once a week for coughs, temps, hard time breathing

etc etc(these ended in spring 06). In Sept 06 we finally took her

to have surgery for the Torticollis and it was successful. After her

surgery I started noticing that she always had a runny nose or cough

or rattle in her throat and now for the last 4 months he has had

very regular fevers with no other symptoms besides a red throat.

Makayla is 2 1/2 and I feel like I am at a loss of things to do for

her and I have lost trust in Dr's...before we found this current

pediatrician.

I am just looking for some suggestions on what others have seen and

done and maybe some info on from people that actually deal

with it.

Please email me with any help or suggestions.

Thank you and Gods Blessings
