The legislature is currently considering two bills, A.3074 and S.1357-A, which would extend EPIC (elderly pharmaceutical insurance coverage) to individuals who are receiving SSDI. Extending this program would assist many individuals who are not eligible for Medicaid to afford the prescription drugs that are essential for their health.
