Guest guest
Hi Aletha, I think that while your husband may be horizontal and motionless and have his eyes shut, he is not getting real, " deep sleep " therefore he is not getting restorative sleep and that is unhealthy. Where do you both live? I could offer a telephone consultation if that is desirable. Read about it at www.ceri.com and www.xyrem.info. Best wishes, Dr. Brad Hi Brad, I am sure that someone else in the group will have a better understanding of the process of LDN and why it works only if taken between the hours of 9pm to 3am. Perhaps the time release would drag it outside of that time period. I am interested in knowing more about Xyrem for sleep. My husband has Amien, which earlier you stated concern for being addictive. is only getting between 4-6 hours a night with the Amien. It is also about $80. per month. I don't mind the cost if it helps him get sleep, but if the is a similar sleep aid (or less addictive) that is less expensive it would be great to know about it. Thanks Aletha Aletha@... > Would someone please remind me why long acting or time release is NOT a > helpful? > Also is anyone using Xyrem for sleep? Guest guest
I tried this once & it was horrible, drugged me & made me nauseous all night I but could not sleep. I know the Dr. said he was experimenting with adjusting the dosage or something to make it work better. But it was such a nasty experience for me I was not willing to try it again. Guest guest
I felt anxious the day after taking it. From what I hear thsi is not uncommon, some people " flip out " on this med according to one doc who had given up Rxing it for her patients. jill1313 <jenbooks13@...> wrote: Hi, thanks, do you mean when you woke up or during the day you felt anxious?
