Guest guest
Our experience with our son is the opposite ... he tends to be cold a lot! However, when it is summertime and its hot outside, he is the first one sweating too. His body temp generally tends to be lower than my daughter's body temps too as his will always linger around 96 degrees. When it is up around 98, he will sometimes complain he's too hot ... go figure! Heidi Mommy of Mason 6. kids running warmer when not fevering Posted by: " LoriToomey@... I thought this was iteresting and was wondering if anyone else had noticed this with their kids. This was definitely true of Sammy. She would always kick off all her covers, even in winter when it was chilly in the house. I would feel her, and her body would be nice and warm. Not fever hot, just warm as though she'd been under plenty of covers. Since she's been on the Cimetidine, she generally sleeps with the covers on all night, even burrowing under a down comforter (our house is cold in winter!), which she had NEVER done prior to being on Cimetidine. BTW, yesterday was the 7-week mark without a fever. Prior to the Cimetidine, she fevered every 2-3 weeks. Wishing you all a happy, fever-free holiday! --Lori (mom to Sammy, 7, JRA/uveitis/?)
