Ok, now I'm wondering if this episode was really part of the or

if it could have been a case of HAND, FOOT & MOUTH disease!! This

episode came unusually quick (just 3 weeks after his last-which he's

never done!) and I have never seen him with these kinds of mouth

ulceres before. His fevers only lasted about 2 days which isn't

common for him either & it wasn't very high (only 101-which is low

for him). I did some research on hand, foot & mouth disease & it has

the same things as so its hard to determine whether or not it

was that or just the . Anyway, I sure hope whatever it is that

its going away. He's never had mouth sores last for this long before.

He's finally eating something & not screaming all day & night! Its

been a rough weekend. I hope your daughter is feeling good. These

posts are so helpful & makes you feel like you're not the only one

having sleepless nights & being ready to pull your hair out! It

really affects our whole family & its so hard.

Yeah that Prednisone works wonders. I dont' use it anymore because it

made my son really agressive & hyper. I have him back on Cimetidine

so we'll see how that goes!

Thanks for chatting! And I hope all is well!
