Guest guest
I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM you described, with ny (age 6 ds) and Caleb (8 mos). Throughout the day, ny will go over and push down on Caleb's head or yank his head, and at the photographer's, he kept pushing him off the platform. When he realizes he will be punished, (I am using tokens, so I take one away), he goes over, signs " I'm sorry " , pats the baby and says " gentle " , and then a short time later will hurt the baby again. I try to never turn my back on them or leave them alone in the same room, but sometimes he does it before I can get to them, even when I am in the same room. I just really lost it today, with ny home from school, it went on all day. I sent him to his room for over an hour because he acted like he really wanted to hurt Caleb. He trashed the room, threw his toys and clothes all over. And tomorrow's another day of it.............can't wait till Christmas vacation is over. I am really afraid he will hurt the baby. And actually ny still gets most of the attention in the home, even since the baby. They do play and laugh together a lot. Well at least I know I am not alone. After a day like today, I ask God if he did give me more than I can handle.
