<today he is suddenly very aggressive, which is very unusual for him. He was

hitting me and pinching me and did the same to Miles and my DH Marisa>

Hi, Everyone.....It's a bit late, but I hope everyone had a safe and fun

holiday. Best wishes for the coming new year to all my cyber friends. We

had a great vacation in Arizona....airports and flights were a lot easier

than I expected. Considering all the traveling we did about Arizona, the

multiple hotels, and all my family around my bro.'s house, Gareth did

exceptionally well. We had a few tantrums toward the evening hours but I

attributed that to tiredness and commotions. He had lots of cousins to

entertain him and keep him occupied. Joan.....Gareth

was suppose to go swimming with his class through Dec. and absolutely refused

to go. He needs to get over his fear of pools. The school is going to try

again this spring. How is Andy doing with his meds....?Prozac or

Luvox?....do you feel that helped the pool situation?

Marisa.....I would try one more dose of 50 mg. IF Brook was my child.

BUT.....if he is the same tomorrow.....nasty and aggitated....I would knock

the dosage back to 25mg and call the Dr. I have said before, if a med

makes Gareth nasty and agitated after a week or two OR on a low dosage, it's

not going to get any better waiting 4-6 wks for " it to kick in " . I refuse to

make my child feel horrible waiting for a med to kick in. Since he's on such

a low dosage of Zoloft, you can easily switch to another SSRI drug.

Take care, Everyone.

Margaret
