Guest guest
I'm glad most had a good Christmas. Prayers to the sister who got cut in the face (and everyone else who needs them). I learned a long time ago to just get what he likes, not what I think he'll play with. He seemed pretty happy with his presents. We got him a LeapPad (OK, Grandpa found a LeapPad - he collects money from laundry mats and it had been there for a while - and we bought books for it). He's good with it for a while, then wants to tie the cord to something.....anything...so it's going to be a supervised toy. But, considering we went home (a 2 hour drive) to my parents, had Christmas Eve at my brother's house - with a house full, I might add, he did pretty good. It's the first time my brother has seen him on his diet (I know, we've been home for 9 months, but just never got around to seeing them). My nephew, who is now 13, did good with . He has a cousin (my sister-in-law's nephew) who is 8, and I told him to just treat like he would a 6 or 7 year old. The last time I saw Austin (my nephew) was when he was about 8 and he didn't do too well with . did, however, wear him out. But they had us, my parents, her parents, her brother and his wife and 2 kids (8 and 4), so it was a full house. I'm surprised he did as well as he did. As for younger sibs, I caught yesterday kicking his brother across the back. was under the computer while was playing a game. I guess it was a case of was in his way.
