Hi All,

He finally made it to 9. I really miss the baby days. Everyone always said it

gets easier as they get older, I don't think sooo. We will just have a small

family party at home no big deal. His behavior hasn't been the best lately

and having his whole class here as usual is just too hard this year. I am

still far from 100% from this surgery. The kids from school were disappointed

they wouldn't be coming to a party this year but I blamed it on my health. I

usually go all out with Mr. & Mrs Santa etc. gifts for all and I'm feeling a

bit guilty. I did promise the class a pizza party in school. Zeb doesn't seem

to care one way or the other. I can't believe it's been 9 yrs already but on

the other hand can remember almost every day. Would I do this again, you bet,

the best 9 yrs. of my life.

Charlyne ,

Many Birthday Blessings for Zeb . Happy Belated 9th Birthday to

Zeb !: ) The only thing cares about Birthdays are pizza, choc.

cake and vanilla ice cream with choc. syrup . Oh and the biggest this

year , even when its not his Birthday . Stand right next to the

Birthday cake and he has become the fastest candle blower . He can be

sneeky and make other young ones mad because they're ready to blow

their candles but is pretty quick ,right away I have to say

lets do it again and its so and so's turn . He use to get mad when we

all sang the Birthday song ,no biggie now as he enjoys the candles .

My little fireman . : ) Hope Zeb had a good time and you were able to

enjoy it , too . Even its a simple celebration . Take care.

Hi Irma,

Zeb is always ready to beat the birthday person to the punch at birthdays

too. He enjoyed his day. All he wanted was Woody and Buzz Lightyear. I was

thrilled that he finally asked for something he didn't have. He usually asks

for a toy that he already has something familiar to him. He never could grasp

the concept of asking for something he wanted other than food. I now have the

problem of figuring out what to get him for Christmas. I have tried to

explain that Santa will bring something that you would like to play with that

you do not have but all I have gotten from him are tow trucks. We have about

5 now. He opened Woody first and was very upset that Buzz was missing like

they were a set. I suppose he thought that they were together in the movie

that's the way they came. I can rationalize that one. Well small problems.

The latest news around here is that our special ed director's computers were

seized from his home and office by the FBI. He has been replaced permanately

from his job. The replacement is a great lady and I am thrilled. I had a PPT

meeting yesterday to revise some of Zeb's goals and ask for consultative time

and they told me. I wanted to jump fro joy. She has been employed in our

district and is a wealth of ideas and information. When ever Zeb's teachers

and I our stumped with an educational problem we call her.She has never been

without great ideas like this group. I just needed to tell someone. Sorry for

the rambling.

HI Charlyne ,

loves Toy Story . You name he has it . I'm glad Zeb had an

enjoyable day . Hurray ! What to get for Christmas ? Let me see , I

know Zeb likes computer , right ? A PC Toy Story game , Toy Story

read-along tape w/Cd , which could also be used on the computer . Oh

yea ! Don't forget Buzz . Does he have the videos 1 & 2 ? View Master

with his favorite reels . Maybe a T-shirt . Oops ! excuse me ,your up

north and that means a sweatshirt with Buzz or Woody . Also bedsheets

& comforter , or just a pillowcase . Yep ! has everything that

I've mention and then some . This Christmas he has chosen Monster

Inc. , but I'm not getting the bed ensemble as it might be to kiddie

like for him . I need to try to stick to teenage stuff for his

bedroom . We purchase that long bubble aquarium with fake fish , some

videos , read along books , and of course some Monster Inc. toys , &

whatever I came across . does the same thing , will always ask

for the same items , too. Whoa ! Charlyne , You may ramble all you

want , some exciting news with the Special Ed director , also scary

when the FBI is involved . Glad to hear about the new replacement and

PRAYERS that all will work out and I'm happy for you . I know you've

had a rough road with the school in the PAST , right ? A new

beginning for the best . Cheers!
