On another MS site, my husband was surprised to find someone only 10 minutes away that was interested in trying alternative methods. We hope to meet with her soon. I have heard of others in Canada on this site. We are in California. We live in central NYS and just got on this list about a week ago after seeing some posts about LDN on a Parkinson's email list. My husband (age 50) was diagnosed with Parkinson's over a year ago so our interest was definitely piqued when we read that LDN has shown positive benefits in PD patients as well as MS. Also, our 17 year old son is a Type 1 diabetic and we saw somewhere in the material on LDN that since Type 1 is an auto-immune disorder, that LDN might also have potential benefits for that too. We are seriously considering LDN for both, but probably would start with my husband first and see how it goes with him, since there is more info out there on LDN treating Parkinson's. Are any of you on this list using LDN in the treatment of Parkinson's or Type 1 diabetes? If so, we'd be interested in hearing your experiences.
