We have found the D.S.A. totally useless. There was nothing for people with d.s. in our area so we formed our own charity to support people with d.s. and their families(called SUNDOWNS-Supporting,Understanding,Needs of DOWNS and affiliated to the N.D.S.S. in America)My Rebekah seems to be the first of our members to go down the dual diagnosis route however we would like to encorporate support for autism too in the group and would love to liase with you if you do decide to set up a support group. Your info is very helpful. Thanks for that mum to Rebekah 3 and Leah 4 > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > >

The score the school came to was 22(not autistic)The score and I came to was 42(severley autistic)Whilst I do not think that she is severley autistic it surely shows that she does have autistic tendancies. The school is very open in that dual diagnosis is not something they have experienced before. They are keen to see this website. Does anyone have any ideas as the best info to print off to send into school? -mum to Rebekah 3 [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > >
