Guest guest
If you lose it you need to get a replacement. I just found out that you can replace it up to 3 times in a year and only 10 times in a lifetime. Lock those cards up! Kerrie In a message dated 9/13/2007 9:58:55 P.M. Guest guest
Sound like they are asking for a law suit. I am going to try it. I am going to say I lost Liam’s card and try to get a new one and see how it goes from there. This cannot be right. --I will let you know! Guest guest
Here is from the SS site, it does not mention vaccine records. If it is a new official rule it needs to be on the site. I don’t see why federal agencies is sticking their nose in a state issue (well, I do… but you know what I mean, vax are state regulated) Anyway, I will still be applying for a new one for Liam to see what happens. I have to think this is bad info. http://www.socialsecurity.gov/ss5doc/repchildus.htm jenny From: EOHarm [mailto:EOHarm ] On Behalf Of Kendra Pettengill Sent: Thursday, September 13, 2007 8:41 PM EOHarm Subject: SS demanding vaccines for cards Anne Dachel sent me this; Just got word from a reputable DAN doc/chiro(Dr.Marilyn DAN ,GA) that the social security dept is not reissuing children's SS cards without up-to-date immunization schedules. Guest guest
Yikes, if this is even remotely true, it's kind of " sign of the beast " -ish. And unconstitutional. And pitiful. Guest guest
Ya, Anne Dachel asked, " what is next, having to show your vaccine records to get a driver's license " . My guess is this could be one area office. Let's find out if anyone has any issues. Kendra > > Yikes, if this is even remotely true, it's kind of " sign of the beast " -ish. > And unconstitutional. Guest guest
I don't think this is accurate. On the website of Congressman Sanford Bishop (http://bishop.house.gov/display.cfm?content_id=26) an immunization record is listed as one of the alternative pieces of ID that can be accepted as proof of identity for meeting the identification requirements in obtaining a replacement SS card for children. > > Anne Dachel sent me this; Just got word from a reputable DAN > doc/chiro(Dr.Marilyn DAN ,GA) that the social security dept is > not reissuing children's SS cards without up-to-date immunization > schedules.
