I am ecstatic by what I saw! We have waited a very l-o-n-g time for this day! I have believed in and shared information about the autism/mercury link since 1998. and Holly made a giant step for mankind today. And to think that will have so many more opportunities! I'm blown away. Maurine said:” yes, the box was opened and she is a fantastic speaker and so energetic. The next episode needs to be that there is science on our side so let's get it out there along with our scientists.” I totally agree. But how do we get the funding we need for our scientists to continue to produce that science? We need an independent study of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated children to prove or disprove the autism-vaccine link once and for all. We need to continue to develop and enhance a more effective treatment protocol. We need to shatter that “small window” to help older children and adults. I’m not optimistic that the CDC will EVER produce research that will confirm the autism-vaccine connection. They have far too much at stake. If we want the research – by people we trust to tell the truth – we must come together and fund it ourselves. That is exactly the purpose of the Autism Puzzle Pieces campaign. I will send you a report on all the events that took place prior to “Cruise for a Cause”. But for now, let me share that we raised over $20,000 for the Autism Research Institute. That is a good beginning toward the MILLION dollars that I KNOW we can raise with the Autism Puzzle Pieces! ARI is the organization we can trust. ARI is the organization to which we all need to devote our support in order to get the research we all want. Dr. Rimland was the first to bring researchers together to Defeat Autism Now! We are forever indebted to him for the Autism Biomedical Treatment Protocol. Certainly it continues to be a work in progress – constantly being

revised and fine tuned as we learn more. What better way to honor Dr. Rimland’s memory than to have parents generate the funding to complete his dream through a grassroots effort?
