Guest guest
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today's New York Post "Ma beats twin-kill slay rap" reports a Brooklyn jury yesterday acquitted a young mother of smothering to death her twin infant sons as they lay in their crib, convicting her instead of misdemeanor child endangerment. The 23 year old mother was sentenced to a maximum two years. The mysterious deaths of the 3 month old twins, Isis and Moorfiyah, inside the family's Brownsville home in October 2005, defied explanation. Under questioning, Mathurin admitted to being "stressed out" caring for the boys and claimed she'd only rubbed their backs to make them stop crying. But the almost-confession and the vague autopsy results still left too much uncertainty, one juror said. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I sure would love to know if these babies had received their vaccinations just prior to their "sudden death"? I would also like to know if this woman's defense attorney's raised the issue of vaccines in their presentation? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.whale.to/v/coulter1.html SIDS and Seizuresby L. Coulter, PhD "Crib death" was so infrequent in the pre-vaccination era that it was noteven mentioned in the statistics, but it started to climb in the 1950s withthe spread of mass vaccination against diseases of childhood. It became amatter of public and professional concern and even acquired a new name,"sudden infant death of unknown origin,." or, for short, SIDS. This name issignificant, in the light of subsequent controversies, since "of unknownorigin" means exactly that. So, when the medical establishment assures usthat SIDS is unrelated to vaccinations, the obvious response is, How do youknow?, if it is defined as "of unknown origin"? At this (as with mostcommon-sense questions about vaccinations) the medical establishmentprefers to retire from the debate in dignified silence. Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.
