Actually , this was MY quote. It was meant to say that, in my

opinion, people are welcome to do anything they want in their own

homes, but some sense of social order must be maintained outside of

homes since a society is only a society long as it can stay in peace

with itself.

Such a social order would be based upon a system of tolerance, but one

that eliminates any sort of infringement upon one another. Because

this system is technically an impossibility, it would have to be fluid

and flexible.

While groups like the ACLU can be instrumental in ensuring personal

freedoms within society, I personally do feel that they have in some

cases reached into over-stridency.

As I have said, I think the ACLU started off on the premise that all

people could conduct themselves reasonabley without infringing on the

rights of others, but I don't think that works in practice given human

nature.

Sorry , Tom, and all, I need to settle down and go do something else

for a while. :-)

This is a topic that I've wondered about on and off for years now and

just have never really looked into. A cursory look on the internet

isn't helping much.

Does anyone, perhaps one of you lawyers out there, have any idea what

the ACLU's done regarding mandatory vaccinations, or the damage that

they've caused? Anything at all?

It seems to me that if ever a group of people have had their civil

liberties stripped from them, it is the parents of vaccine damaged

children.
