Guest guest
NIH Scientists Discover Correlation Between Testosterone Levels and Autism Researchers at the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine reported higher levels of growth-related hormones in boys with autism spectrum disorders as compared to typically developing boys. Researchers examined height, weight, levels of growth-related hormones and head circumference in 71 boys with autism or autism spectrum disorders and in 59 boys who did not have autism. The study may help explain the increased head size children with autism. The study was published in the online edition of Clinical Endocrinology.I found this on the Autism Speaks website. I'm sorry if someone has already posted it. If I read this and the press release from the NIH correctly, then I believe ABC owes the Geiers a whopper of an apology for the hatchet job they did on them and Rev. Sykes.
