WE can start our own goal to write to all their donors

and let them know we are not using their product because of what AS

is not doing for our kids. Leave out the Mecury stuff for now.

That includes TV networks.

I say we all start our lists now. They made it easy for us

because its all listed on their website and we can also request

a list of their top donors.

Where is you "inside information" from?

My husband recently spoke with Bob and Suzanne and this was certainly not how they were talking about their family.

I do not follow them blindly, but it just seems that AS has been the pinata vs. who has actually injured our children. Who is Suzanne standing with? Isn't it with Dr. Ian Lipkin a close associate of Maddie Hornig?

Let's just put our energy toward fighting the real fight , versus espousing venom where it doesn't really matter.

How can you speak out against Vaccines when they are your big Donors!

I listed a long list of them. Also are some of our favorite clothing

shops-- Old Navy, The Gap, Banana Republic.

Walmart and Target weren't listed as Donors YET. CVS and Walgreen's

also were not listed as donors.

That is precisely what I have been intending to do all along.

Start a " KEEP IT LOCAL " campaign, and have any autism organization in

your area sign on. Mention that Autism Speaks doesn't give back to

the community, show them a copy of their 990.

Tell these companies that if they want to donate to helping children

with autism, to donate to local organizations.

Remind them that the Combating Autism Act just allocated big bucks for

autism research....

If these stupid parents would stop WALKING IN CIRCLES for them and

stop being SHEEPLES and realize that they're not getting any HELP from

ANY of this....... they'd stop.

Also, look up their walk schedules and write to the local media.

Anybody know how much a full page ad in the NY Times costs?

I'm hoping that, above what AS does/doesn't do, that & her

parents will find healing and compassion from each other. I have a

brother who hasn't talked to me in 6 yrs, he stopped speaking to me

after Allie was dxed. My mother is in grad nursing school & she'd

rather do research studies on elderly women & bladder infections than

her granddaughter's injury (not that bladder infections aren't

important...) and other family who change the subject every time

autism is brought up. I'm sure it's similar to many of you. To me, the

worst thing of AS is knowing it's putting a wedge in the very family

who created it. In the end, will Christian be better or worse for it?

The big pharma front group of AS was already in the works before the

s entered the picture. The s just happened to be the

perfect celebrity family to seal the deal. is the smartest and

most ethical of the family, IMO. Christian is being raised by

his ethical parents who have demonstrated they have integrity, and he

is not being raised by his unethical grandparents who have

demonstrated that they lack integrity. It is Bob and Suzanne's loss,

period, and they are free to make different choices to remedy the

situation.

There is no question that the s are concerned about the problems

in their family and for their organization.

The control of AS is not the Wights but the powerful group of

scientists and managers that are receiving millions of dollars and

will be receiving tens of millions of dollars. Sharing the money with

the parents for treatment and services are not in the plans.

This group is concerned about how controversy effects that flow of the

money. They believe that the controversy will not alter the flow of money.

AND there are those like NAAR that the ego in " being Right " feeds into

the mix.

By the way Jon S - who we have not heard from again - lock up the

movie rights.

They have found in the s (not a misspelling) the perfect couple.

So perfect in fact when the first major test came down of choosing

what to do about their daughters courageous position - they choose the

organization.

We all were witness. They let AS spin the story with the media.

has refused to comment to the press. A quiet tortured dignity.

If the organization was concerned - they would do what people do -

they would pick up telephones - they would hold a series of meetings -

they would examine policies - they would embrace the PROGRESS THAT

CHRISTIAN IS MAKING. They would talk about the joy of treatment and

recovery stories rather that talk about dispare . They would share -

the would hug - they would love.

So....let's see if Suzzanne talks about the improvements in her

grandchild and the need for other families to have the same access to

treatment that she was able to give her own grandchild.

This is very different about " awareness " . Ask any parent if they

benefit from an awareness campaign.

Remember - they are collecting public money in your name for your pain.
