is so classy. Can't believe her parents would agree to a phone

interview with NYT but wont discuss the issue with her. Wow. Thats

thats....er...thats....

This whole article makes me revisit our personal situation with the

media and such. My kid wasnt just hanging out with some unique,

quirky qualities he was sick sick sick. He had these comorbid MAJOR

gut issues that tons of our kids have (though the ND will tell you

MOST autistic kids DON'T have these issues...makes me want to see

THEIR autistic kids...the over 250 families I work with have gut

issues...I can count on one hand the ones that dont. honestly.)

right Charlie. He was never autistic to begin with or his recovery

will be 'spontaneous.'

Enough about that. Sweet Christian is unfortunately getting lost in

this, well by the media anyway. They'd rather talk about a family

fight than his health. I can only hope that boy responds well to

biomed and therapy...whatever his parents/doctors/therapists decide

is right for him. that is the point. HE is the point. Each one of

your children is the point. And the media will never talk about that

until AFTER it becomes mainstream knowledge.

I send thoughts for each autistic child right now. And their

families. regardless of belief. I'm mad. I'm angry. I'm sad...but

I'm trying to remember the babies.

What I hope is the " typical stupid Americans obsession with

celebrity " takes this up as they did with Britney Spears, Paris

Hilton and Alec Baldwin. If you can't get the press to cover the

truth have them cover the celebrity family falling apart over it.

Perhaps a good thing? A battle in the media, (maybe a planned

event)

Yeah, did I miss something? After seven years on these lists, I never knew about the "mercury" nickname??? Wow, we're all "Mercurys"! I feel special!
