Hi Christy,

I just read your posting and wanted to let you know that we have taken our

son to CHOP in Philly and were quite happy with Mason's ID doctor, Dr.

Kim. He gave me as much time as I needed to tell him what all was

happening to our son, and then was able to rule out many diseases via

bloodwork he had taken. He was very courteous and genuinely nice. Also,

had a great way with our son who tends to be terrified of most doctors.

He also even called me to let me know how his tests came back, so I

wouldn't have to come in to get the results. He also has email which was

nice because we communicated several times that way too.

Hi Ellyn,

I just noticed that you're in Phila. We're in West Chester. Wondering if

you've seen

docs who are familiar with & if you've been happy with them.

This is the first time he has had a fever since the Rheumatologist gave

him the script for prednisone. In August - it was strange - he acted as

though he was having

an episode - but he never actually had a fever. Anyway, as soon as I knew

he had a fever I gave him his dosage of prednisone. In the morning he

woke up fever free.

He still was a little irritable, but the fever was over. Today he headed

off to his first full day of kindergarten. I guess it's just wait and see

if the episodes increase in frequency as it does with some kids.
