A bad case of

Hi it has been a long time since I have posted on this site. So I

guess a lot background would be nice for you all. My name is Dawn

mother of two Chirs 8 (Asthma, , ADD) and Nikki 5. has had

since he was about two and half or three. Been through all the

mess about two years to get an Dx of . Been through lots of mouth

sores and high fevers 105 was the higest for Chris. Put in hospital

for dehydration a hand full of times. Had T & A back in 2003 which

helped for about six month of relief from the . When it came back

was not so bad not alway a fever with every 21 days but still mouth

sores. That went on for about a year. Than the mouth sore came futher

apart and no fever that was for about six months. Than no more

for about one year until now. Now about a two months ago got a

low fever the higest 101 than three days later here come the mouth

sores. Not to bad just a few. Than three weeks after that mouth sores

no fever. Just alot of sores like six total but the did not all apear

at the same time. He has one at frist then three days later three than

a day later all six and his botton lip was sowllen up. So we wnet to

the doctor and he put on three days of Orapred. Now 21 days

later he we go again. This one mouth sore and than two days later the

fever. 104 was the higest this time. Than one the second day of fever

he got six more mouth sores in one day. The the next day total of ten

sores big one and small one. He can't talk very well they are under

tonuge and around tounge all in his mouth. He will drink but not eat.

Talked with dotor he did a one dose of Orapred to see if it helped

well the fever stoped but he got one more sore. So it seems like the

is bad and bad now. His dotor said that he wants ot have the ID

dotors look at again but not this time the next outbreak. I glad

he wants them to see but I wish it was now. I hope we can get

him some help he need. He is in so much pain he wants to eat but

everything hurts him so much. I even got yogurt that he can drink he

likes it and carnation breakfast, milk, and tea but that all he will

do. No food! I don't want to send him back to school until he can eat

and talk better. I have talked with his doctor for two days now he

just says use the magic mouth wash and mortin for pain but it not

helping him at all. He dose not want to do the full three days of

Orapred right now. If still can't eat or talk any better I think

he will go see the dotor since he has not seen him just talked with me

on phone. It breaks my heart to see in all this pain and no way

to help him. He keep aksing for food because he is hurgry but he can't

eat it! I have cried he has cried he says he wants these sore to go

away. I can only pray they do soon but as we know they will be back. I

pray for all kid who have to go through any of this as well as us

parents. I pray it will all go away and one day there will be no more

! Sorry this was so long but it helps to get it out. I did leave

out some info that make it as short as I could. Any question or advice
