Guest guest
~ My son started his fever last night, and this morning, after I had given him his motrin and was trying to cheer him up a little, I went to kiss his eyes and he said not to do it because it hurt. That's the first time I've heard him say that, but it's funny that you asked this today. I was just thinking today that he's finally gettign to an age where I can really start to understand what underlying symptoms he might be having. Also, a funny little story. Last night (before the fever came) his eyes looked a little droppy with dark-ish circles under them (a classic symptom that the fever is on its way) and he was crying about everything. I asked him why he was crying, and he said, " My body is making me cry! " I thought that summed it up very well! Poor little guy... - Mom to Aidan, 4 (and a twin sister without ) P.S. We got a prescription for cimetidine, and we're starting it tonight. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but you should have seen the look on his face when I asked Aidan if he wanted to try a medicine that might make him not have fevers anymore. He gasped, and his eyes got really big, and he said, " Ever, ever again??? " I hope, I hope, I hope... > > Just wondering if anyone elses child has complained of their eyes > hurting during a fever?
